NorCalWitness Posted Tuesday at 03:44 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:44 PM I grew up spending 2 weeks every summer in that area. There was a small lake we could walk to, about 15 minutes away. I've never in my life had the creeped out being watched feeling that I had at that lake, and it happened many times there. I also saw a black mass running up stream as we drove past a creek and it was running up stream as fast as we were driving, but I was 11 or 12 years old and just chalked it up to being a bear. Not so sure now. There is massive open country up there. Thanks for sharing. 1 1

It was sketch in a full size pickup so we backed out and went around. Beautiful country for sure!👍

The only weird thing coming from the Pacific NW is the lack of water. I do like that it’s not choked with evergreens. Lots of really big parks and grass and meadows. And there are jeep trails everywhere. They lock everything up around here.
