Vermont 1861 - A Wild Man Near Stamford - Tirademan!

Published in The Springfield (MA) Daily Republican on July 25, 1861, included in Bigfoot in New York and New England by Paul and Robert Bartholomew, and likely found by Tirademan, this Vermont sighting is close enough to western Massachusetts to be part of the North Adams (MA) wild man scare that was explained away as a student in "gorilla guise" at https://bigfootforums.com/topic/122216-massachusetts-1861-wild-man-was-just-a-student-tirademan/. 

 

 

 

 

The Springfield (MA) Daily Republican, August 10, 1861 - a month later and they're still hearing the wild man.
