Canada 1920s-1940s - Old Yellow Top

Bobbie Short (RIP) posted articles about Old Yellow Top she received from John Green on Bigfoot Encounters at http://www.bigfootencounters.com/creatures/yellow_top.htm.  Old Yellow Top is mentioned in a several places in the Forums (see https://bigfootforums.com/search/?&q="Old Yellow Top"&page=1&quick=1&search_and_or=or&sortby=newest) and the Bigfoot Encounters page appears to have been copied and pasted into the Forums at https://bigfootforums.com/topic/56333-swamp-apes-or-escaped-monkeys/page/2/#comment-992267.  

 

Forum savant Redbone added an Old Yellow Top sighting in the BFRO sightings section at 

 

While I found the North Bay (Ontario) Nugget, which is the supposed source of these stories, on Newspapers.com, the only article about Old Yellow Top I could find was published on January 03, 2011 and sought "ghost stories."  None of the other newspaper clippings appeared, even when a variety of keywords were searched.  The best explanation seems to be that these stories were in a local section not preserved at this time.
