Sightings continue to occur. If verification of Pendak were confirmed, it's difficult to imagine the ensuing uproar and pandemonium in the scientific community. Such a discovery could spur funding for further research into a possible N American great ape candidate. 1

I was super impressed with that 3d scan he did.
