This is another Bob Gimlin interview that frustrates the heck out of me - he manages to contradict the timeline of when he and Roger Patterson got the film of Patty not once, but twice during the interview and goes in different directions, first saying that they went down to Bluff Creek "the last part of September" and encountered "a little over two weeks" after they arrived (i.e., October 12th to 16th?).  Then he states that Roger wanted to hurry to cast Patty's footprints because the sun sets pretty quickly "in late October" (i.e., October 25th to 30th?). 

 

Contrary to what some might think, this does not mean that I believe that Bob Gimlin is lying.  He's not the greatest witness (but I've had oh so worse witnesses) and had he been prepped at some point in time, he could still tell his story in his own (sincere, folksy, and honest) voice but not lose credibility by having clear contradictions in his own story.
