Trogluddite Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago More on a report published earlier - it's hard to keep all these clippings straight. There seems to be much more to the story than meets the eye. The earliest report was from the Lancaster (PA) Daily Intelligencer on September 24, 1909; this report appears to describe a nude human. However, the second report, published in The Semi-Weekly New Era of Lancaster (PA) on October 6, 1909, appears to describe an animal, hairy and crashing through the underbrush to escape. The third story, also from The Semi-Weekly New Era's October 6, 1909 edition, describes a tragic accident resulting from the wild man scare.
