1967/11/09 - Legal Document - DeAtley, Patterson, and Gimlin form "Bigfoot Enterprises"

This legal notification that DeAtley, Patterson, and Gimlin had formed a fictitious firm, where each was a co-partner, was published in The Eureka Times Standard of  on December 4, 1967.  If I find a better copy, I'll replace this one.  The business - Bigfoot Enterprises - was formed in Los Angeles County, California on November 9 (possibly November 7), 1967.  

 

It appears that the lawyer who did the paperwork was Walter Ernest Hurst, a Hollywood attorney and publisher of more than two dozen reference books on arts and entertainment law.  He was a specialist in copyright and trade book (trademark?) law according to his 1991 obituary in the Los Angeles Times.
