Pennsylvania 1780 - Wild Man Dollar Among Stolen Money

Published in Poulson's American Daily Advertiser, Philadelphia (PA), on September 26, 1780.  "Wild man" coins should be familiar to longtime Forums members as there have been numerous posts and/or threads mentioning them.  Of course, now that I want one for an example, I can't find one anywhere.  However, a guest posted a link to an article on the Coin World website describing the sale of German Wild Man coins.  That story at https://www.coinworld.com/news/world-coins/german-auction-house-offers-some-really-wild-coins.html is worth a click just for the high quality pictures.
