Trogluddite Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Tirademan's historical newspaper articles collection is one of the main reasons I began coming to the Forums more frequently. While he was the first (here) to publish old articles about the Winsted Wild Man, he does not appear to have found this article, which was published in The Philadelphia (PA) Inquirer on September 22, 1895. This article goes into much detail than any of the articles in the Litchfield papers' stories about Selectman Smith's encounter with the Wild Man.
