Washington 1970 - Skamania County Passes Law Protecting Bigfoot

I'm sure this short clip was published in many newspapers; this version is from The Baltimore (MD) Sun's November 27, 1970 edition.  If I recall correctly, they had to repeal this law as the county was not authorized to create its own felonies.  I believe I heard on Bigfoot n' Beyond with Cliff and Bobo that they passed a corrected version limiting the prison time to one year.
