BC witness Posted November 15 Posted November 15 The local research group I belong to, the "Bukwas Crew", has been involved in a couple of new productions on the subject of Sasquatch. The group consists of Thomas Steenburg, Gerry Matthews, Leon Thomson, Bill Reid(MagniAesir), and myself(BCWitness),. We were approached in the spring by a journalist with a request to shoot a documentary for a Utube channel. After some discussion, we agreed to participate, and the resulting doc will come out in December. The producer apparently liked the doc, and asked if we'd take part in a series, probably 6 to 8 episodes, and we also agreed to that. As of Wednesday this week, we completed shooting that content, which is now in editing, and should come out in about February. Both projects follow us to both historic and more recent sighting locations here in BC, Canada, mostly in the upper Fraser Valley and Harrison Lake areas. What you will not see is any call blasting or tree banging, like some previous shows seemed to love. 2 2

BC witness Posted November 15 Author Posted November 15 One "maybe" print and one night vision binocular blobsquatch. The program is more about the stories and the investigation of reports.
Trogluddite Posted November 16 Posted November 16 ^^^ Night vision or infra-red/therms? Just for clarity. Thank you, and congratulations to all!
BC witness Posted November 16 Author Posted November 16 (edited) Night vision (low light enhancing), not infra red. This occurred not long after nightfall, from a small bluff overlooking a small lake. Looking at the location the next afternoon, there didn't appear any way to easily access the spot without crossing the lake or it's outflow, or descending a very steep forested hillside with no visible trails. Doubtful it was a person, but some kind of wildlife is a possibility, deer or bear would be about the right size. This location has a long history of indigenous legends, and more recent encounters by a local landowner and his family. Thomas interviewed the landowner, who refused to appear on camera, but I'm sure the story will be recounted in the finished product. Edited November 16 by BC witness
BC witness Posted November 16 Author Posted November 16 Here's a photo f that location. The "blob" was sighted from the top of the rock outcrop near the centre of the picture, looking across the water to the timbered shore on the right side. 1
BC witness Posted November 16 Author Posted November 16 Here's another shot of where the blobsquatch was sighted from. Jason is standing on the rock outcrop looking across to the shoreline at the base of the hill where the thing was seen. 1

Thanks; having used both, I think night vision like starlight scopes are preferable. Of course at the time of using thermals, the smallest one was the size of a 1967 floor TV set.
