georgerm Posted November 17, 2025 Posted November 17, 2025 Daniel Boone did many amazing things and one of the most outstanding events that happened to him was when he encountered a Bigfoot while camped out in Kentucky with his men. This amazing event happened in the mid 1700s so those of you who have never read or come across this adventure, this short 5 minute video will help fill you in on Daniel Boone's encounter with Bigfoot. Back then they probably didn't call it Bigfoot. In different parts of the country Bigfoot has many different names that adds a little confusion with the study of this creature. Anyway, I'm sure that you will enjoy this short video that will add to your knowledge of Bigfoot. When compared to guns that we have today, how deep would the lead bullet fired from a 1750's flint lock rifle penetrate a Bigfoot's chest? If you had 1750 flintlock rifle and a Bigfoot charged you, where would you shoot the Bigfoot? I always questioned if he'd be able to take a 'yahoo' down with the rifle he had but the position of the shot makes sense. I also wondered why he took the shot in the first place. Again the account answers those questions. A very interesting story indeed.

The two heart shots by Daniel's son did not bring the bigfoot down and the bigfoot was killing the son by bashing him into trees. The third shot by Daniel hit above the left eye and brought the bigfoot down. Incredible shooting by Daniel. Edited 1 hour ago by georgerm
