Trogluddite Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Published in The Herald Statesman of Yonkers, New York, on August 23, 1921; story included in Bigfoot Encounters in New York & New England by Robert and Paul Bartholomew. They distinguish this series of encounters from a later series reported in November newspapers (see the earlier post) but I'm not so sure. The towns involved were a mere 12 miles apart and the encounters lasted for anywhere from two to four months. This could easily be one Bigfoot settling down in an area with adequate food and water. The location is in Franklin County, New York, on the north shoulders of the Adirondacks.
