Published in the Shawnee (OK) News-Star on September 6, 1947.  Forums members who are engineers should research the Tecumseh Underpass, which from all the stories it generated, sounds like the worst engineering design since submarines with screen doors.  This story set up another columnist from the same paper to take a shot at the poor design of the underpass the next day.
