Maine 1896 - The Story of the Lewiston Wild Man Continues

From the Sun-Journal of Lewiston, Maine, on July 21, 1896, a lawyer declares the mystery solved thanks to his armchair investigating skills.  From the same paper on July 22, explain this story, Mr. Keyboard Investigator, Esq.!  On July 23, the Sun-Journal offered the explanations for the mystery offered by "six men at the drugstore."  Once again, the wild man was seen the day after amateur investigators solved the mystery, as reported on July 24, 1896.
