Canada 1811 - Explorer David Thompson Discovers Huge Tracks

The tracks were found deep in the Rockies and I welcome any of our Canadian Forums members to locate where Thompson's expedition was likely at when the tracks were discovered.  This incident is included in SASQUATCH/BIGFOOT CHRONICLE & Other Unrecognized Relict Hominoids & Wild Men Earliest Reports to 1899 by Christopher L. Murphy (Unpublished).  It is from David Thompson's Narrative; a 1968 version of that narrative can be found at https://archive.org/details/davidthompsonsna00thom/page/n5/mode/2up; the account is on page 445.  Even if it is a bear, it's a big critter.
