Maryland 1944 - Snallygaster Disturbs Carroll and Baltimore Counties

Published in The Evening Sun of Baltimore (MD) on November 10 and 16, 1944.  Given that the overwhelming descriptions of the snallygaster include waterwings and a flying creature, these reports are included because of the strange howls and huge footprints.  As I was typing this entry, I realized how much we take for granted these days - just a generation before me, country homes didn't have refrigerators....
