More Historical Newspaper Archives - 500

Early in January, I added the 500th historical newspaper article or obscure book extract relating to Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yetis, and other hairy hominids.  While readers may not see 500 articles for a while, they are preloaded well into April.  Like almost all Bigfoot research, this archive built on the shoulders of those who came before and uses information from John Green's database, Scott McClean's newspaper article collection, and books by Janet and Colin Bord, Paul and Robert Bartholomew, Timothy Renner, and Christopher L. Murphy among others.  

 

The number of posts slows down considerably in March for a variety of reasons.  Future articles will be added at a rate of 3 per week, usually on Mondays.  Again, if you know of a historical* Bigfoot or Sasquatch encounter which may have been covered in newspapers or referenced in an obscure book, feel free to DM me or to add whatever information you have in a comment below.  I may be able to find it.  Similarly, if you think I have not properly attributed Tirademan!, let me know. 

 

* Sadly, I'm now considering events in the 1970s as "historical."  Given that I was around during that decade, I'm not sure that being over 50 years old counts as "historical."
