International 1854 - The Story of Julia Pastrana From Mexico (Part 1)

This is a horrible story which I first encountered in SASQUATCH/BIGFOOT CHRONICLE & Other Unrecognized Relict Hominoids & Wild Men Earliest Reports to 1899 by Christopher L. Murphy (Unpublished), thank you very much.  This first advertisement - one of many from the time - is from The New York (NY) Times on December 21, 1854.  By 1855, this woman was being displayed in Louisiana, as advertised in The Weekly Comet of Baton Rouge on February 25, 1855.  The last article - the first I encountered with an illustration - is from The Evansville (IN) Daily Enquirer on June 11, 1855.
