Backdoc Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago (edited) Why use a Track Runner in the MDF… The reason the TV show used the elite runner was to establish an extreme. It’s the same reason people want to know how tall Patty is. If Patty is 6’1” tall it’s the same as many available men. If Patty was some outrageous height 7 or 8 feet tall then it immediately becomes more likely Patty is no man in a suit. Onto the MDF and the runner: If the elite runner- who is not even burdened with a suit -couldn’t outrun the MDF figure it virtually guarantees its no man in a suit. If it’s not a man a man in a suit it must be real creature. It was the simplest way to test the MDF. We don’t know how fast the runner would run wearing a suit. Even if he could run faster than our MDF figure while wearing a suit the real and hoax possibility exists. The show wanted to set up an extreme. If the figure exceeded that extreme it would be a fast way to case closed. Edited 41 minutes ago by Backdoc
