1978/05/13 - Newspaper Article - "...I Should Have Shot the Animal," Says Bob Gimlin

Stumbled across these comments by Bob Gimlin while identifying other historical newspaper articles on Bigfoot.  It comes from the Edmonton (Canada) Journal and was published on May 13, 1978, about the time that the first academic conference on Bigfoot and other cryptids was being held in Vancouver.  The tenor of Bob Gimlin's comments do not sound like a man who was pressing on with a hoax.  And yes, I bastardized what Bob said.  Posting these things have made me think like a journalist - got get eyes on the posts.
