Why is this better than clear ...... daylight footage? 

FLIR cameras are infrared imaging devices that detect heat and convert it into visible thermal images, allowing users to see temperature differences invisible to the naked eye.

If it’s military grade footage with a legit chain of custody from the military?

 

It still proves nothing. But if the military and border patrol is seeing cryptids? It certainly may make science more interested to look.
