With the caveat that I'm listening on my phone's speakers, that sounds like gunfire to me. I hear it again at 6:51 of the video. I'll have to try some headphones later.

That could be gunfire or maybe not? Then again at 7:15 the dog is starring and it doesn’t sound like gunfire at all. It’s worth listening to with the story that accompanies it as he makes no claims that there is wood knocks.
