Why is the Forest Service and BLM so quiet about Bigfoot?

I don't think Congress will get involved.

Knowers that I have talked to just have no interest in proof.

And the government agencies in question make a big joke about the subject.

So here we are. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah it seems all the knowers are obsessed with this phenomenon but are quite content with not taking the picture.

Doesn't make sense to me.

Third option: at the level that controls the purse strings, the gov't does not believe bigfoot exists so looking for them never gets taken seriously enough to be assigned.    That doesn't require field people not to know about bigfoot.    How do you truly rock the boat, not merely look stupid, unless you have proof in hand, and if you have proof in hand, can you prove you were not gathering that on work hours while neglecting your specifically assigned duties?

Maybe they just continue with the status quo because they can. That sounds more like government to me.

Maybe I am a stubborn pot stirrer.

But if I see one? I am putting it down. The chips can fall where they may. But truth is truth.

At least get a good picture.

So now we are full circle. Is the Government more than happy to allow Sasquatch to go extinct? If true? That's a conspiracy if I ever heard one and flies in the face of their mission statement.

Probably would just rather keep the status quo. They do with everything like this.

I’ve never seen a government abide by its mission statement, let alone its constitution or laws.

IMO they don't want to scare away any potential visitors. It could mean losing a lot of money if visitors were scared away by the rumors of some "dangerous creature" lurking about in the woods so to speak. Probably don't want groups of armed people hunting for it either.

Government might be happy if people stopped visiting their property.

That horse has been beat 10 feet into the ground.

It’s entirely possible. I know they have 86’d Viking settlement archeological sites in Canada…

Of course they did. Do they want packaging in English, French and Norwegian? Hell no. In reality, it is a culture clash in the way of who claims the land.

That woman was fired and some of her work was disappeared.

Probably but there’s never been a single good picture or set of pictures. 🤷‍♂️

With all these knowers on here, someone could get at least one good picture. 🤷‍♂️

What good would a picture do at this stage of the game?

They have been sighted it seems everywhere, why would they lock up an ecosystem to protect them?

The Forest Service would not lock up their ecosystem but fanatical private groups might try.

yes, and since the courts overrule the professional land managers who are just trying to do their jobs managing ecosystems, lock-up via court mandate is the most probable outcome.

“Good” is all in the eyes of the beholder.

And one amazing crystal clear way better than good photo WILL NOT move the yard stick with academia one bit.

We need physical evidence.

Well they don't want any more colonizers laying claim to anything.

The Dorset people disappeared and the Inuit moved in. Probably because of 1st contact with the Vikings brought small pox.

Its just to bad that the truth is a casualty in this debacle. I have a sneaking suspicion that contact between the old world and the new world is much older than anyone thinks.

There’s never been a single good picture. There’s pictures and video of just about every facet of life. There is more cameras in the woods, more people in the woods with all kinds of technology for night vision, infrared vision, it’s extraordinary what is available. Yet STILL not a single photo.

So yeah, I think it would do a lot of good.

Yeah because now everything is easily faked. But if you can’t get a single good photo or video, even with the incredible technology they have now and so much of it, I’m not sure how you’re ever gonna get any physical evidence. Physical evidence is even more elusive than a good picture.

What private groups own these ecosystems?
