georgerm Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Of all the paleontologist in the world, they have found fossil remains of 13 separate homo species that are extinct. We have skulls of the Homo ergaster, Homo georgicus, Homo floresiensis, Homo rhodesiensis, Homo naledi, Homo neanderthalensis, and finally Homo rudolfensis. This means we have very active paleontologist that have discovered other Homo species so is this 3' to 4' humanoid ape that lives in East Africa one of these humanoid apes that we know of? georgerm Posted 47 minutes ago Posted 47 minutes ago (edited) Yes, we Homo sapiens are considered to be a Humanoid ape. Just don't act like one! For sake of clarity, we will call this small, reported East African ape the Homo africana. It has been reported by villagers and explorers. However, it may be part of the Pan genera along with Chimpanzees and Bonobos. They don't appear to part of the Gorilla genera or the Pongo genera that includes orangatangs due to body structure, long hair, and living in trees. This small 3' to 4' East African ape that walks up right, is covered with medium to short hair, and appears to be one of the extant or surviving humanoid apes is yet to be captured. The four categories of the humanoid ape genera are the Homo, Pan, Gorilla and the Pongo. Which genera is this ape in? If you are a young fit explorer, and have the funds hire a crew to live in the Jungle of East Africa and document the Homo africana, then go for it. Homo africana walks upright like Homo sapiens. We don't know if they have language or use tools like the Homo sapiens. Just think, we may have another Homo genus creature that shares the Earth with us! We have bones and skulls of all the other extinct Homo creatures and Homo africana may be part of this group or a new one to add to the Homo creatures. Edited 44 minutes ago by georgerm
