Bigtex Posted January 23 Author Posted January 23 Happy New Year to all! Still haven't been hiking in my 'rough' areas, need 2 good eyes for that......we had some snow Tuesday morning early and found this interesting print going up to my back porch, do they miss me, lol? 1
JKH Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) Wow I see toes, they are so bold, all the critters looking for food. Edited January 24 by JKH
Bigtex Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 Finally getting out there a bit more, still having vision issues but what the heck! Found a few impressions, the last one is interesting, they repaved our dead end road the other day, and saw this print, the asphalt was still not quite dry, looks like the heel slid a bit, and looks like a track with toes, who would walk on this barefoot at night, plus it was really cold? 1
Bigtex Posted April 21 Author Posted April 21 Howdy all, and hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Haven't been hiking much and is driving me insane, still a one-eyed jack and felt it was too dangerous, especially since I am always alone....all you serious hikers out there know how precise your footing needs to be, and it's just slightly off with 1 eye....but have adjusted my hikes, going slower, and have eliminated any climbing, plus my eye is adjusting....finally! Here are a few pics coming out of this remote Spring, and have shown many prints over the years at this spot. The 3rd pic was at a sighting location I was called out to, and is a Wolf Sanctuary that has been getting nightly visits. The last 2 pics really blew me away......I haven't used glass peanut butter jars in 15+ years, and found this one about 2 miles from my gift location, and in thick brush, amazing! 1
Bigtex Posted May 5 Author Posted May 5 Greetings for the new week! A few prints from recently......hiked over to a fav Spring pool, always interesting activity over there and found a fresh track, and a few others nearby.
Bigtex Posted May 7 Author Posted May 7 Having some major rain which is great! Creeks are finally running good, and these 2 stepped across the creek, I couldn't begin to make this step in one move like they did. 1

Bigtex Posted May 8 Author Posted May 8 Hey Cat....hope you are doing well! I've had the best luck with any brand smooth, the locals don't seem to like the nuts, lol. Here's an old pic, love how they just tear the jars in half, notice the lower edges where they dug their fingers in for the twist, and would take great strength to do this.
Catmandoo Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Fascinating. I don't remember seeing that image. An octopus is clever and can unscrew the lid off of a bait jar. By ripping the plastic jar in half, the intelligent Sasquatch avoids a 'monkey jar fist trap' scenario. Nice of you to switch to plastic jars for them.
Bigtex Posted August 12 Author Posted August 12 Glad to see the BFforum back, was getting worried.....will start posting some back logged photos, here are some interesting impressions, from small to large. 2
Bigtex Posted Wednesday at 08:49 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 08:49 PM Howdy all.....some new pics, some interesting impressions, especially the 4th one, and maybe belongs on another forum lol, Dogman, anyone find these? The next 2, I've showed the Cattails in this area over the years, good hairyman snacks, first pic shows after day one of the July floods & then a few days later after a massive flood wave tore through and totally removed the Cattails, amazing power! The last 3 pics, I have showed this small spring fed pool many times, and a good place to find prints, especially during the summer as it stays full, however I have noticed since last Spring there's always a strong musky odor when I go down there, a strange stick structure forming an 'A' as you go down there, and a trail leading away to a thicket area.....and no I ain't going down there, heard a weird growl a few times so no thanks.
georgerm Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Hello there, I have been looking at your thread on and off and I'm just wondering how far from your house are you finding these footprints? I was camping out in Oregon near Prospect, Oregon, around 1980 and about two in the morning I woke up and Bigfoot was looking at me from about 50 to 60 ft away. I started doing field work and looking for bigfoot, and I got a little freaked out because there were 3 or 4 incidents when Bigfoot was acting paranormal. I attached a sketch of what I saw. I have no idea what your property looks like and some of Texas is Desert and other parts of Texas I believe have forest and brush. How do you describe your property? There's 161 pages on this thread so I'm sorry if I'm asking questions because I I don't have time to go back and read all 161 pages. I'm going to have to do some catch up so can I ask questions and can make intelligent comments. How far from the closest town are you and how many people live in the town? Do you think the Bigfoots that live around there are dangerous or shy or what kind of personalities do you think they have? What kind of an area do you think the bigfoots are making their dens in?
