Guest Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Definitely kudo's for the database. As far as enthusiasm, though... well, I'm under the impression that this isn't a hobby for him. Isn't this how he makes a living?
Guest Twilight Fan Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 agreed all jokes aside atleast he's out there being productive. have I missed something about the hello kitty stuff? Yes. Refer back to posts #6 and #7.
Guest Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I take my hat off to him, i think he should be commended for 1 ) building that database and 2 ) his enthusiasm for the subject which, whether you like him or not, is great to see. Yup! Can't deny his body of work, whether or not people agree with his antics sometimes.
Guest wudewasa Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 MM Started the database. However, countless members of the BFRO are the ones who have updated and maintained it, making the organization what it is today. I respect the members, but MM is just an idea man who makes sasquatch research look like a joke on an international level to the public eye.

Guest toejam Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I'm curious as to the last name he uses considering it's really Pruitt, correct? Is it cause they hold expeditions pocketing thousands of dollars for a location and how to squatch? 20 people at $500 - 10 grand. Moneymaker. I've never even looked at Twitter.
Guest wudewasa Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Disagree big time BobbyO. There are a number of people in the BFRO that can stand without the aid and presence of MM. Bart Cutino and Bobo do very well in the field alone, Stand Courtney produces some amazing audio recordings of all sorts of wildlife, and Matt Pruitt has led a number BFRO trips where MM has been absent. Think about it, it's the same as bashing all the people of any nation because of the actions of a few people that are in charge. We don't all drink the kool aid!
Guest Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Matt Pruitt is another BFRO researcher and organizer. Different dude.

His name was changed after WWII. Pruitt is a different researcher. I have also tweeted him.
Guest Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 (edited) I'm no expert, and I admit MM knows far more about sasquatch than I do, considering I've only really developed a serious interest within the last few months, but I have noticed how on "Finding Bigfoot" he has a habit of jumping to conclusions that "it must have been a squatch". I don't know, maybe it's just the way it's edited, but it does appear he can be a bit brash at times... I'm not trying to talk the guy down here, the BFRO's database is fantastic, just saying that's how he seems to come across at times. In saying that, few of us would come across exactly the same way on tv as we would in real life. As for twitter, does anyone know some good BF style accounts to follow? I've pretty much just got the FB guys. Cheers Edited September 16, 2012 by Scotsquatch

You surely can't disagree that he should be commended for that Database that was down to him in the first place and his enthusiasm for the subject can you ? If you are, i'd say your disliking for the man for whatever reasons is clouding what you're saying.
spacemonkeymafia Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Matt and the others supposedly complained about the way things were edited in the beginning. I doubt they have little if any control on what gets to air.
