Guest Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 What's your point? MM was fooled? What's the big deal? Why is this always brought up when anybody talks about MM? It doesn't make me hate him. Maybe we're all being fooled on all the evidence. Please explain wudewasa so I understand, I'm not being sarcastic.
Guest wudewasa Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Kerry, MM has an air to himself that he is always right. His repeated behavior on "Finding Bigfoot" is testimony to such haughtiness. He jumped on the Sonoma video and drank Penn and Teller's kool aid hook line and sinker. Rather than owning up to jumping to conclusions and being wrong, he blames everyone else for the situation. He's a spin doctor of squatchery, no doubt learned from his law degree. Such a lack of humility is disgusting. Case in point, here is the clip from "Finding Bigfoot" where he breaks protocol and disrespects other members of the team. The more they disagree with him, the greater the rudeness that he exudes as he minimizes their role in the field to glorify his own. Such repeated emotional outbursts don't jive with objective, critical thought needed in "scientific research." He's in this for himself, standing on the shoulders of other's labors to cherry pick data and promote his own agenda at the expense of others. I hate bullies. The bullying behavior of MM cannot be justified, regardless of his contributions to the BFRO, "Finding Bigfoot," or any other area of bigfoot research. It's wrong, should not be ignored, and I will continue to call out such blatant disregard for other people until he checks himself and changes his attitude.
Guest Cervelo Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Well said W!! Kerry you stated in another thread you are a biologist what is area of expertise if you don't mind me asking (and no answer is on) Thx
Guest Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Cervelo, I have a bachelor of science degree in biology with credits in mammalogy, ornithology, animal ecology, wildlife management, research coarses in the field of wildlife biology, botany, animal taxonomy, parasitology, entomology, genetics, animal physiology, vertebrate zoology, plant science, herpetology, biometry, animal husbandry, comparative anatomy and that's all I'm typing because I repeated myself twice now. I have 7 years experience working in a zoo taking care of animals. Wudewasa, I still don't feel any hatred. I was expecting more like some dirty little secret that would make me want to spit on my computer screen. I think MM is comical and he hasn't hurt anyone. All the bully's I remember liked to inflict pain wit an occasional black eye or bloody nose.
Guest Cervelo Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 (edited) K, Wasn't calling you out or anything just curious it's nice to know when someone has some background in a subject such as this. Thx Edited September 29, 2012 by Cervelo
Guest wudewasa Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Kerry, are we on the same page now?
Guest Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Wudewasa, I'm not that sensitive that I can hate a guy for getting overly excited or rude on a bad day. I run into all kinds of people and try to find the good in everyone. I still say MM along with his BFRO team have contributed plenty and will have even more to offer in the near future.
Guest wudewasa Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Kerry, it's not like he had a bad day on occasion, but instead has imparted a lifetime of hard blues on people when he deems them unnecessary. Sensitivity and compassion are core qualities of leadership, as well as the ability to have the character to stand up to a bully's whims. His "team" can think for themselves, they are not sheep, he is not the shepherd, even if he believes his own delusions of such power.
Guest Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Wudewasa, didn't you ever have a boss that was a real pain in the butt? I know I have and I would of took MM over both of them any day of the week. I'm not saying I could never hate MM. If he would pull a stunt like Casey Anthony or Bernie Madoff he's off my Christmas list.
Guest wudewasa Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Yup, had many, walked away from every one of them. It would have been interesting if any of them would have ever taken a swing at me. There have been many amazing people that were once connected to the BFRO that walked away due to MM's treatment of them. However, there are still many great people within the organization today. They have a greater chance of finding bigfoot than he will ever have.
