Are Bigfoot Believers Too Eager To Believe?

I've been gullible. I've fallen for several hoaxes now and it certainly doesn't feel good.

Me too and the problem i have with it is because as a knower i am completely understanding of the fact that anything that pops up on this forum or the www. as " possible Sasquatch " doesn't automatically set the alarm bells off for me as i " know " they do actually exist.

& that is starting to bug me and these jokers are starting to bug me badly too.

.

As a very keen amateur magician and mentalist, I have a lot of experience of deceiving people (purely for entertainment purposes). On the mentalism side especially, people are very quick to believe I may have special powers, even when I tell them that I am fooling them. I have had many people ask if I can tell see their into their past and their future (yes I can, but of course it is a parlour trick), even contact lost ones. I’m serious. This is after I’ve told people that I am tricking them. The point is they want to believe. Maybe it is just human nature.

I do not expect no one to take my word either on what i saw, Thats not being human. When i decided to start looking for these creatures I went in that bi would not find nothing. In other words i was truely skeptical that there could not be no possible way that they could exist. Read the reports and went from there to see for myself if they were real. Things changed and i found my answers on my own, with help from others i placed myself in the right places and learned that these creatures are real.

But the truth is I do not expect any one to believe what i saw or expieranced, and why should they. Why should anyone believe what us so called ,knowers or ,believers or what ever they want to call those who have seen and expieranced these creatures. It is not expected of them too, unless they were actually there themselves. Sure you can say where is this proof, but every time that one post some type of proof of their incident it gets rejectedor mocked. It all turns like an endless circle and never goes no where cause everone always comes up with something only for the mere fact they were not there.

Some people have it right, that it is best to stay silent and never say a thing about what they have encountered or that they have a case of habituation. To say or open a disscusion of this sort only leads to arguments that lead to nowhere closer of underdstanding these creatures. But if I was to give advise and i guese I am giving : it would be to stay as skeptical as you can and to prove these creatures to yourself before asking advice from anyone. The truth is out there and all you have to do is look for it ."Seek you shall find." this is just my opionion, please forgive my spelling

lol wouldn't it be weird if two researchers were out woodknocking for each other thinking they're communicating with a Bigfoot? :)

I have seen you presented with new evidence and have watched your opinion change. That is good science and, dare I say it? Good scepticism. It is the rational people like you that keep me still interested and open to the possiblity that sasquatch exists because you have had what you are convinced is a sighting of a sasquatch and I cannot in all good concience call you a liar or charlatan or whatever else because I have seen your analytical skills demonstrated here on this forum. (Now that I have said that I hope you're not some genius level serial killer behind bars somewhere having fun with us :o )

The Bigfoot love it when that happens ; )

Knowers don't care, it would be fun to be one. Sit back and laugh at the skeptics because you know if it looks like it might be a Bigfoot it probably was. Meanwhile the rest of us are questioning if it's even possible.

I think I fall on the opposite end of the spectrum, I assume it isn't until everything can be turned inside out, if possible. If not, then it isn't squatch.

CMbigfoot- was it the warning yells (I assume that is what it was) in the you tube video that you were trying to compare to supposed bigfoot recordings? My first thought upon hearing something like that out in the forests would be that a hiker was in trouble somewhere. If I happened to be on that hill side I would have been blown to bits because I would not have associated that with an "all clear" notification.

CTfoot- yes those were warning yells. The guy yells fire in the hole in different directions then shoots the pit. I am actually a half mile up the road to the right blocking the road. I left my camcorder on a stump facing the pit to capture the explosion.

Remember the video was a test to see if believers are eager to believe or not. Now we just need to know how many members watched the video after knowing it was a test and if they are believers or nonbelievers.

I will delete or rename the video after the weekend.

I could not understand what the guy was yelling. It sounded like bellowing to me, much like bigfoot yells.

Likewise.

I think they probably exist, based purely on the thousands of sitings, but I'm going to **** well stress-test any evidence I see. It's good practice. What is left is the evidence really worth examining. To me it's a shame this forum doesn't have its own 'Top 10' of evidence. PGF gets its own section, but it seems that nothing else warrants such.

I thought it was a failure of the Bigfoot time/dimension portal!

I saw a figure in the middle of the road and heard the Bigfoot recall howl and opps portal implosion!

Well at least we got it on film, well done!

Here's an awesome fight between a bear and human that's been used as a commercial...

Is it more important to nail hoaxers and ID false evidence or to encourage submission of true evidence?

We KNOW that videos, photos, prints, sounds, and reports can be artfully faked nowadays. To point that out is just unnecessary and tedious. We know some people fake it.

We also know that people with real experiences and evidence are driven away by the doubt, ridicule, and manhandling they suffer on sites like this one.

Take that new trackway. If it is legit, the guys should be encouraged to share it. If it's not legit, time will tell. So relax, dammit. Accusations and fine-detail criticism of the prints are premature. Just IMO.

The doubt you experience when evaluating evidence can be a symptom of the cognitive dissonance. It's common to say, No, it cannot be real! and extend that to evidence others present.

IMO it's better to take an encouraging stand on evidence brought forward than to chill the atmosphere so evidence is kept private.
