Guest
Discharge of a firearm. Sounds like a YouTube confession to me.
Guest
I've never heard dyer describe the animal as if it's head was blown off. All I heard him say is that he shot it in the back of the head and the bullet exited out the mouth, taking two teeth with it.
Cotter
^ I see Skyla... Yeah, if shot in the back of the head, I could see it making a small hole in the backside, and if it took teeth out, it obviously exited the mouth. (if it happened at all)
Guest
Do those laws apply to shooting animals? If he was within CITY LIMITS it was against the law. He wasn't in a shooting range for target practice. Says nothing about hunting being an exception.
Guest
San Antonio ordinances Sec. 21-152. - Discharge of firearm. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge a firearm within the city limits of the City of San Antonio. ( It is an affirmative defense to prosecution for a violation of this provision that: (1) The person discharging the firearm was a certified peace officer at the time and the discharge was done in the performance of his duties as such; or (2) The person discharging the firearm was a certified security guard at the time and the discharge was done in the performance of his duties as such; or (3) The discharge was justified under the provisions of Chapter 9 of the Texas Penal Code; or (4) The discharge occurred at a firing range or other area designated for target practice. (Ord. No. 79328, § 2, 12-16-93; Ord. No. 84805, § 1, 9-19-96) I remember reading in the Cryptocrew statement that Minnow films were really angry and scared by the whole affair: The bullet that brought down the bigfoot entered in the neck of the creature and exited out it's mouth, knocking out 2 teeth. Well this upset the producers from Minnow films, they were under the impression that the rifle was just for protection against known animals. What happened next according to our insider is that Dyer and the Producers got into a fist fight and it was a good one. They all kind of settled down after a little fighting. The Producers got a little scared and called in some government officials. The government people showed up and took some samples and pictures,it also appeared that the officials were kind of shocked about the dead bigfoot. Our insider did not say what branch of the government it was that was called. After talking to these officials the producers settled down a bit and realized they would not be going to jail or getting into any trouble. Guest
Then if there were government officials called, there should be a public report!
Guest
Who were the public officials? The meter readers from up the road lol Just kidding! But seriously though....Im curious as to what "public officials" were called in. ( or should I say I wonder which public officials RD says were called in )
Guest
If BF was shot, and someone from either PD, wildlife, or anyone who is an public employee, it would have been widely known! You know, a phone call to the SAPD, and/ Texas parks and wildlife may provide some answers!
Guest JenJen of Oldstones
Hopefully, I'll be able to go out there again this weekend, for some follow up. If anybody has specific questions you want me to ask or something you want me to look into, please post them on this forum. I plan on checking out the property behind the Home Depot, as well as trying to get more detailed info from some of the homeless people camped in the area. Cisco, if you haven't already asked them yet, will you please ask the homeless people you speak with if there is indeed a Bigfoot around there? Or has been? I couldn't find in the thread if you asked that very question. I know we have the 911 call, but someone else who lives near that area (I think it was Irish73?) said he thought the phone call was a hoax. We are all assuming the homeless people have knowledge of a Bigfoot residing or being seen in those parts but if you could double-check, I would be grateful. Guest
Its not just by what Dyer has said, its the homeless camps reports too. Why should their accounts go amiss just because their stories are connected to a Rick Dyer kill story? The sightings reports since 2009? should be pretty good evidence to assume that maybe maybe, there is a sasquatch in that area? That's just it JackiLB - I don't remember hearing of other bigfoot sightings in this area - other than the 911 call that was made.. Can anyone direct me to other reports? Guest
Then if there were government officials called, there should be a public report! I've been saying from day one...LAW ENFORCEMENT would be involved and there would be no *playing footsy* with Dyer and gang. There would be NO reason to sweep it under the carpet and there would be reports and leaks. Dyer's account doesn't hold up..period end of story. Guest
The 30.06 is an extremely powerful rifle. I've torn a coyote in half with it. At the range Dyer is claiming he shot the BF at, an exit wound out of the face would have been devastating. The whole mouth would have been blown out, so to say it knocked two teeth out is laughable. So if you're saying maybe Minnow Films has the grizzly scene on film so therefore they are reluctant to comment, well then you're saying Rick Dyer is lying. . .again. I'm curious, just how many Dyer lies are you willing to look past to keep believing this story without even one piece of evidence being put forth? It was said earlier that if we put all his past aside, why can't this be true? Well that's kinda the whole point. Why on Earth would you ever put his past aside? At a certain point people forfeit their right to getting the benefit of the doubt. Edited January 25, 2013 by arizonabigfoot
Cisco
Maybe you shouldn't post publicly exactly when you will be going. Just concerned for you, man. Good point... I will go sometimes this weekend and I'm licensed for conceal and carry. Maybe I'll run into the brother of the one RD got?
Guest
A Squatch who was down with keeping it real with the other homeless. Probably learned to scavenge and get over and kind of got into a less sharp defensive frame of mind. The time window for Mr. Musky ticks on. Supposedly we have a picture of the Squatch from the tent video. Which we can sorta opine the skull structure and amount of bone and tissue a bullet would travel through. It looks like a human size head or somewhat larger to me, but not really big enough to absorb a 30.06 round with only a couple of teeth knocked out as it exited the front of the head. Cisco, another suggestion, on your visit to the area, ask if anyone has found any teeth. Or ask em if they remember where the film crew camped, if you are in the area and find it, possible to find shell casings, teeth or other residual evidence of a shooting, or at least a fist fight and campsite lol Go Mate!
