WSA Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 As I said previously I'm one who believes in the reality of "spooky entanglement at a distance." Unless, of course, you are trying to catch your waiter's eye to replace the fork you dropped....but I digress. I have also heard those involved in surveillance work say they don't look directly at people when tailing them. Although they might believe this "draws" the subject's attention to them, I think the practical purpose is much more mundane. People involved in nefarious activities are likely to take a greater interest in who might be looking at them, and even people not so involved are likely to just look around and see what is going on around them at random moments. In those instances, if you are tailing someone, you don't want them to look directly at you, looking at them. So, it is just a good idea to avoid a direct gaze, don't you think?
georgerm Posted February 23, 2013 Author Posted February 23, 2013 There is always the chance of catching the one staring but it possibly goes beyond this. The results are more than chance according to some experts so if ya’ see a BF, and it looks mean, don’t stare at it.
the parkie Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Could Jacobson's Organ play a part in, or even explain the phenomenon?
