At that point, I will acknowledge that I was mistaken on this particular story. But not without good reason. haha Agreed! Plussed!

The fact that he is a known hoaxer has nothing to do with whether this is true or not. I've heard that it is true from ANOTHER person that is in a position to know, & this person didn't hear it from him. Whatever Dyer says is irrelevant to me. Honestly, it's silly to base everything you believe about this mess on the fact that he has hoaxed before. There is nothing about his previous history that makes it impossible for this to be true. Anything is possible. A children's story has nothing to do with it, & I think it was the nonbelievers that brought that up, anyway. This statement is categorically ignoring the most import part of this wild claim........So we are silly for pointing out all the reasons this story could NOT be true..we are silly for pointing out all the lies contradictions and changing of the story? We are silly for be very very cautions in believing this outlandish tale by a 3 time proven hoaxer? And we are not basing are opinion on JUST the fact he has hoaxed before..your statement in and of itself ignores all the facts we have presented and quite frankly the opposite of being open minded
