MIB Posted March 18, 2013 Moderator Posted March 18, 2013 BobbyO - I'm convinced we're up against an intelligence out there at least equal, possibly superior to our own. Mere instinct could not produce the very real results we see. We're not finding anything (give or take ) because we build "dumb ape" assumptions into our search methods while we look for something that is anything but that. Our assumption of infallibly superior intellect is our undoing .. so far. Thom Powell wrote "guerilla, not gorilla" ... it fits. The danger from the sasquatch, if there is any, comes to whichever of us they think has cracked their riddle. MIB
Guest Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Personally, I perceive the greatest danger present in Sasquatch habitat (aside from cougars, which have some fairly regular behavior, and are thus relatively easy to avoid or fend off), is the potential to accidentally mis-identify common phenomena as somehow Sasquatch-related. After all, the only evidence that really counts is that which is incontrovertible. That said, as has been shown time and time again, if a Grizzly bear decides it wants you dead, your odds of disappointing it aren't necessarily in your favor. The same has to be true of an 8-foot tall omnivorous ape-man, yes? -Michael
