BobbyO Posted March 20, 2011 SSR Team Posted March 20, 2011 Security footage at the casino? in ref to Oklahoma.. Yep..
Guest RICH G Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 (edited) I had forgotten about that Okalahoma thing. It just does not make any sense to me, why keep things like that a secret? Regardless if their existence is proven or not I don’t think we are much of a threat to them because they can most likely adapt to any situation either environmental or man made quickly. I think that as long as they have the ability to hide and find enough good food they will be fine. If anything, when their existence is proven it will make us better stewards of North America. Guest gershake Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Can someone please fill me in on that Oklahoma situation? In a PM if need be to keep the thread on topic. - Shake
Wheellug Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Can someone please fill me in on that Oklahoma situation? In a PM if need be to keep the thread on topic. - Shake There was security footage of a dumpster diving Squatch. It was made public on youtube or someplace but quickly recalled. The story goes.. if I recall correctly.. the tribal chiefs recalled the footage on religious grounds, or it was the casino's not wanting to attract that kind of attention. Since then it has been repressed and no longer available.
Guest gershake Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Has anyone on here seen the footage? Was it good?
Wheellug Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 I think I saw it.. it was dark, night time security footage, but then again most things are compressed on youtube.. The figure appeared tall, when compared with a dumpster.. Light from the building next to the dumpster. Can't really say that much because I just happened to catch it when it came out.. Then never saw it again. As I only saw this once.. I'm not sure exactly of what I saw..
Guest Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 (edited) Derekfoot said: I have seen the pancake footage that MM recorded. Pretty cool but not real impressive. Very blurry. disagree, it wasn't anything impressive at all. MM needs more effort there. Fenris, with respect to the pancake video, a few years ago I was informed that there was much more to it than ever went public. I was told this by a fairly reputable individual who was peripherally involved and saw this additional footage, however there were since NDA's put into place so not much more came out on it. I am told it was very clear so prob not what Derekfoot seen either. More wait-n-see I guess, but didn't MM divest himself of any ownership as well in a subsequent legal matter with his prior project funder? Edited March 20, 2011 by PragmaticTheorist
Guest gershake Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Thanks, Wheellug! The pancake footage belongs to Erickson now, right? Was there ever any word on whether it is going to be in the documentary? (Derek and Rich, please let us know when we're going too far off-topic!)
Guest Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 When I saw the footage MM showed it to me on his laptop. He did say that the original was quite a bit more clear. You could make out the individual, but It was very blurry. I just wasn't that taken with it because it was difficult to see any good definition. I didn't even know that it had went public at all. I guess I spend too much time in the woods. There were a couple of things that were pretty cool about it. To me the subject moved in a very feminine way. The way it adjusted itself when it sat down reminded me of watching a petite woman sitting down to eat. It also had some pretty amazing night vision. It appeared to reach out effortlessly and grab the hot cakes in the pitch dark. Left me on the fence.

Guest Sallaranda Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Is the pancake video still available to view anywhere? I, for one, have never seen it.

Please don't tell me you think that woman in the housecoat and towel wrapped around her head is a Bigfoot....lol Note: You must click on the image to activate the Gif to see the subject in motion. BobbyO Posted March 21, 2011 SSR Team Posted March 21, 2011 Please don't tell me you think that woman in the housecoat and towel wrapped around her head is a Bigfoot....lol I get the feeling Mr Derek has seen a better clip than that to be honest..
Guest Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 I get the feeling Mr Derek has seen a better clip than that to be honest.. Then he should have been able to clearly see the subject has something on her head and is wearing clothing. That is absolutely and unequivocally a human being reaching for those pancakes.
