hiflier Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) Hello All, In the land of the midnight sun the tapeta lucida of reindeer undergoes seasonal changes to compensate for those times when the sun is "up" 24/7. They change from blue to gold so it would seem at least some night vision adaptations contain active variables. Large apes are trichromatic like us and do not need to forage at night; but they are herbivores for the most part so don't need that capability. We are omnivores, Sasquatch is thought to be one too. We don't have NV, it does. Is it because it is genetically and in an evolutionary sense MORE carnivorous than a Human? Does this then mean that it truly is more animal than Human? Did we start out like the apes and were only herbivores? Was Sasquatch then ALWAYS a carnivore? It has night vision when, except for a couple of small primates, none of it's "relatives" do ape or Human. It has often been said that there are many more questions than answers when it comes to this Creature. I think I just added a couple to the pile. Edited October 19, 2014 by hiflier
