Guest mariner
I never saw that debunk, I thought I had seen a photo from same vantage point where it wasn't there. Shooting them is illegal in Ontario here, in as much as they're not listed as a game animal or pest and you can't get a tag for them. Can't remember if that's Federal, all of Canada, or provincial hunting regs. So what does one do if attacked - it is natural to defend oneself, even shoot to kill. I would argue that even the Ontario government would find it hard to defend or justify their legislation against "life threatening attacks". Just my two cents, but should that ever happen and it became public,it would certainly present an interesting "conundrum" - kill or be killed. Thanks
Guest
Yah, you're fine if you get attacked by a bear and manage to kill it with the turkey rifle you had, during daylight, in an area you had permission to hunt, and a license for, in season, as long as you report it to MNR, so they can pick up the carcass and give it to native americans for traditional purposes. You can guess by that that routinely porting any kind of firearm gets to be unpractical, especially since any kind of hunting is verboten in a lot of public areas. You can wander around your own land with a shotgun for pest and predator control though.

Thanks Out in the back woods everything is perfectly wonderful and normal in the land of denial or you would think. Yet, you would have to know you step into the harsh outdoors you are walking into their dining room where you’re as welcome as a rattlesnake at a square dance! Something occurs and you’re on your own.
