Bigfoot Eye Colors

Do we have any optometrist out there? If eye color is determined by multiple chromosomes which is what many believe and understand why we get so many different variations eye color, is there anything to be learned from mapping eye color of Sasquatch reports?

I have noticed a wide assortment of color pigmentation when browsing through hundreds of sighting reports.  Common to these reports as it pertains to color detail are ten colors that I notice in repeating patterns to include day or nighttime sightings.

Yellow, Red, Amber, Pink, Orange, Brown, Black, Green, Blue even White

If as some scientist believe, that DNA links to blue eye genes can be traced all the way back to early progeny thousands of years to old Europe, what if any significance does that say about reports coming in by witnesses describing some Bigfoot creatures with blue eyes?  I am not aware of any reports demonstrating similar color variations in primates, if you do please share it.

I've always been interested in the answer to that question...but be careful. There is a difference between true eye pigment and the color spectrum reflected by a light source. When you look at those reports, you need to cull one from the other. In my experience, the number of accounts that provide up-close impressions of iris color are very few. The ones purporting to describe a reflection from the tapetum lucidum are many more numerous.

I've always wondered about that too.

Also the descriptions of eyes reflecting light and actually producing light.  I wouldn't think any mammal could produce light from it's eyes but it's noted time and time again.

Thank you WSA & Frap 10, it is a very curious topic that puzzles me too. I have read some of the issues people relate to concerning light, but the idea that some alleged day time sightings describe color with some of these reports is far too intriguing to pass up.

It is all genetics.

Every time they mate, they add every genetic chromosome they have into the mix their mate has.

If genuine blue eyes are reported, and since that is a recessive gene, the dad would have to have blue eyes and those genes to pass along to the offspring.

If the offspring mates with a brown eyed BF then the eyes would be brownish or hazel.

There are some fish who have luminous eyes like that, if BF have them, that is a rare trait and totally out of the norm.

I am intrigued by the eye color variation some report especially blue since some in science consider that pigment to have DNA lineage follows a line back to early Europe in human beings but what I don’t understand is how it would apply to primates? I thought I gleaned something on this forum awhile back, where they discussing monkeys and some had red or amber eyes, but nobody has ever claimed blue eyes in gorillas or have they?

Correct, eye shine has nothing to do with moisture, the eye color reflects light enough to make it look like the eyes are shining.

The color would remain the same, I believe that lighter colored eyes would be more likely to shine the brightest.

I have a cam tracker picture of blue eye shine but when i scan it ,well it does not show. The only way to see this eye shine is with a flash light and a magnifying glass. I also have a day-light photo of the area where this creature was standing. this thing is at least 11' to 12' tall and the eyeballs are blue with black pupils that also be seen in the photograph that was shot at night.

I almost ready to throw this picture cause it had nothing on it,but the sun hit it right and that is when I seen the two big blue eye's with pupils. Very strange and yes i did ask about these creatures having blue eye's and my friend told that yes they do have blue.

I will try to scan this photo on a new printer scanner and try to load it.

well this is the best that I can get this picture on my scanner. It looks better with photo in hand. This is a place I was setting up bait for deer. You can see that there are two reflectors on the tree to the left of the eye shine. Those reflectors are four feet of the ground I just did not measure the diameter of the tree. I use those reflector as a point of finding me ground blind. I would sit behind the camera taking photo's and wait for deer. My bait was corn cob and it would be gone with in a day or night I should say. I hope you all like
