coffee2go Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I didn't see anything in Dr. Swanson's explanation of olfactory hallucinations that would tie it to visual hallucinations, which would occur if you first smelled a stench and then hallucinated and saw a Sasquatch. That would have to be a truly rare phenomena and wouldn't occur in the large numbers that are reporting these "symptoms" as sightings.
guyzonthropus Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Unless, .of course, some agency has developed some catalytic compound that triggers that infamous and universal fear that dwells deep within the subconcious mind of all Manknd. ... That way they've implemented one "rational refutation of reported observation" within the construct of another...brilliantly clever! So, does this substance really smell that bad? "No, we put the stink in, just to get the person focused on something before we dredge up the ol' primordial horrors......works most of the time...."
