Nice Steelie and Chinook, great catches. They're running in the local rivers here in BC as well. I haven't done any fishing since I sold my boat about 30 years ago.

Explored a piece of state ground and some timber ground behind a locked gate.

You're riding bikes now?

I thought you were too old for that  :)

Another long weekend, another adventure. Sep. 30 is Truth and Reconciliation Day in Canada, in recognition of our indigenous peoples' struggles during our past colonial period.

Sounds, and looks like a great outing. Thanks for the report. Beautiful country!

Checked out my best friends sisters place in Mullan Idaho. They then took us on a cool jeep ride in the mountains.

Saw a bull moose and mule deer.

We also did some metal detecting and found a miners lamp, drill bit and a broken knife.

We also checked out a mutual friends cabin on a old mining claim.

My kind of country! I love the mountains.

Like the eighth photo down? Is the star mine we drove past in Burke Idaho. It’s the deepest hole in North America at 8100 feet deep.
