I can't imagine your story of trying to keep the bears away... that sounds hairy as can be.  

 

Stepovak Bay, early November in the early 1990’s. We cut a deal with a commercial fisherman between openings to haul us out. All we paid him was for fuel, but we brought lots of good food, beer, liquor, and..........something special for him and his deckhands to smoke. The morning that my buddy shot that gorgeous sow, we glassed up 11 bears from the boat. But after getting that sow back to the boat, we were all pretty spooked. Nobody counted on fighting our way back out. It was the only bear we took.

Sadly,  to date, all we get are these wives tales or urban legends about shooting BF.   

 

What ever happened to the TX based group that had a cabin surrounded by activity, weren't they shoot at bigfoot as well yet unable to bring one down?   Was that NAWAC or something?

There's no guarantee what you will see when the opportunity presents itself. Don't forget that you have no control over that. You can dream of what you want to see, and that might enable you to pull the trigger, but the odds are probably just as good that you will see a female or young one picking berries.

What Im saying is that a species that is as big and strong to break the neck of a running Elk?

 

Isnt human.... any resemblance will be superficial at best.

 

Same goes for females and adolescents.
