Guest
They should close the sample admissions process for this study, that's for sure. Right now, as long as they are still taking samples, that means that the study is still ongoing and the paper has not even been submitted for peer review yet. I thought that the papers were already out for peer review, and that the results were being documented. What in the world has happened? I read her business reviews and to say the least, I'm totally shocked. What does that rating mean about the reality of the samples sent to her, and the follow-up peer review? This ranking among her *peers* does not bode well for us at all. I thought that she at least had an upstanding reputation for her work and the reliability of it! Yikes Thrice!! This is dreadful news. Incorrigible1
How sad for Ketchum, Erickson, and others who have spent years and thousands of dollars in order to have their "ducks in a role" before presenting definitive proof of the existence of bigfoot to the world only to be co-opted by a nurse who finds a bf foot in a ditch along side a road. Ketchum's paper will be second page news as the world marvels at the bf foot. How foolish to wait so long to disclose this great discovery. chickens/hatched
Guest
This may be true, however, on the blogtalk radio appearance (or C2C appearance) Ketchum linked a sample cut-off period loosely by referencing it as being a contingency by which the paper could then be submitted.....this may not have been intended but it was what this listener understood the case to be. She encouraged those with samples to get them in within a few weeks if they wished them to be included in the current analysis or paper. When did this occur? Recently, or months ago? Nothing is making sense about this issue to me at this time. I thought that we were weeks, perhaps days away from the *Big* news event, and now this issue comes up and I feel like I'm adrift in an ocean of lies and partial truths from people that I had trusted. Unfortunately, SQ, that's what happens when you believe people's "reports" who are not involved in the projects at all. I would suggest you wait to get excited until you get an OFFICIAL report from the ACTUAL team members of the projects then you won't be let down (IMO ). Guest slimwitless
Like you, right? Can you tell us if the paper is undergoing peer review now? Just speculating here (this is a bigfoot forum after all) but what if she's having problems getting the paper peer reviewed? Perhaps some scientists are leery of attaching themselves to a paper purporting to prove the existence of sasquatch - even if the science seems solid. Again, idle speculation on my part. bipedalist Posted July 13, 2011 BFF Patron Share Posted July 13, 2011 Here's a link to the submission/acceptance process for Nature (just a randomly picked journal). http://www.nature.com/nature/authors/submissions/subs/ and final submissions: http://www.nature.com/nature/authors/submissions/final/index.html As you can see submissions can be made on-line now or by mail (apparently not both). This should keep everybody busy for awhile.

Good help is hard to find. All it means is that she needs to hire a new business manager. I think you are getting it confused with the accreditation process for labs. bipedalist Posted July 13, 2011 BFF Patron Share Posted July 13, 2011 The DNA acts much different then all other DNA in the world, thus a project we thought would take 4-6 months has trailed into three years.
