hiflier
One might think a manufactured whistle would lack the variable timber/pitch of a natural one. If a whistle was more like a siren where volume as well as pitch could be altered then it may could fool or tease a Bigfoot. Maybe "call blast" a natural whistle that has been treated with a little pre-processing for a more resonant tone? Add a bit of bass to warm it up some (more organic) and help it carry further. A sliding whistle would do this.
