BC witness
I've only done that once, along the Hudsons Bay Trail between Coalmont and Hope, and loved it. Kinda hard to keep a horse at my condo, though.

BC witness
Yes, that's the one, Mike. My wife, my son, and his girlfriend, along with a couple of wranglers, went up from a ranch near Otter Lake, right up into the alpine country in July, with the wildflowers in bloom and mule deer standing just yards off the trail watching us ride by. That was on a summer trip into the region about 30 years ago, and I still remember it fondly. We didn't do the whole route, just an out and back from the ranch for a dawn to dusk day trip. My wife almost went off the back end of her horse on the steep climb up, when it stumbled and lunged to get it's footing.
