Interesting reports. I'm familiar with most of that Plateau, having hunted deer and moose there for nearly 50 years. Some of it is very rugged land, but that is true of about 90% of BC. At one point, about 30 years ago, my wife and I seriously considered selling my construction business and our home just outside of Vancouver to purchase a resort on Green Lake. The last I heard,  that resort recently changed hands for about $4 million !!

The video link is gone but if that is the first of 6 in a 6 part series, the first 3 parts weren't bad.

My wife's uncle lived at 71 mile house for about 60 years, and her 1 brother still lives there.

I hunted all over that area and ice fished on green lake dozens of times
