Snow is starting to pile up.

Bullwinkle was home today. Turkeys too. And also 3 whitetail does that didn’t want their picture taken.

Fingers crossed I have some good camera trap photos.🤔

That must be your driveway behind the snowplow?  Rocky the Squirrel must have been grounded I suppose!

Yes it is. It’s over a 1/2 mile long. But unlike the ranch it’s pavement at the end of it.

Also I just noticed that Bullwinkle is hiding in the Turkey picture! He is getting more brazen.

Wow, winter means work, that's for sure in norsetown!  At least you got your white Christmas.

For sure! My wife loves it. I could certainly be on a sandy beach with a cold drink somewhere right about now.

Since we moved away from the ranch, all that plowing plus our mini stg falls on my son. But he gets to use our 100 HP Kubota tractor and 10 foot blade. Dad gets a four wheeler…..🤨

What type of hay do you give them?   Mineral lick(s)?

4th cutting alfalfa basin hay. It’s premium.

Apple blocks

I put out some black magic granulated mineral licks. They don’t seem to care. Back on the ranch they would create a hole. Dunno.

You have a wide range of wildlife on your ranch. Do you see many bears?

This is on my wifes parents property 2 hours away south east. But yes a wide variety. Here we are six miles from the panhandle of Idaho.

Yes. Lots of black bears and griz are on the rise. I had a nice black bear hanging around in deer season.

This is an amazing photo! If you removed the quad, it's perfection!

Same spot just for you! Both ways.
