Guest
For those not familiar with him, his show is one of Discovery Channel's highest rated non-fiction, non documentary productions. http://www.youtube.com/watch%3fv=7y5aO5XdgT0 Edited to repair broken link. Guest krakatoa
Link no worky. Is the from the radio interview? I thought he never came right out and said "bigfoot", but it's a great bit nonetheless.
Guest
2 things- 1: He says he heard it, didn't quite see it. 2: What was the other encounter?! To me, this is one of the most credible encounters out there.

Guest
Survivorman has always been a welcome relief to me- in comparison with the uber popular "Man =vs= Red Roof Inn, oops i mean Wild" show.... Seen the man break down in tears from isolation, and stress from sleep deprivation, lack of food etc... I havent even listened to the link yet- but I had heard somewhere a while back that he supposedly had some kind of encounter.... I think he's a very interesting guy. For those who havent seen them, on youtube you can also find an interesting documentary he did about establishing an "off the grid" existence, and also another one where his wife and him spent almost a year living in the Canadian bush for their "honeymoon". Not my exact idea of a vacation, but **** the guy's persistent- i'll give him that. Art

JDL
I just don't get the self-imposed deprivation concept. I had enough military-imposed deprivation during training to decide that it wasn't fun beyond a certain point. He's just not my cup of iodine water. Guest
I enjoy the show and watching him go through the trials and tribulations of being alone in some god forsaken place. But what is his second encounter? The interview cut off to early... WTH?!?!?! Is there another link or a part 2?

Guest vilnoori
I like Survivorman but sometimes I think he does things the hard way when he doesn't have to. AND there really are a lot more things to eat out there than he thinks, there is no need to fast so much. For example, make a fish weir, or a net, rather than hook and line to get fish...
