RSMO Shares Women's Video of a Strange Subject She Spotted Hiking Oregon Mountain

It's a very brief video of the subject walking up the slope of the mountain. It has unusual proportions and an odd gait. It's not a bear. Could it be a hiker?

It's interesting.   I think the gait could be a result of slick conditions or difficulty balancing.   The odd motion of the arms suggest struggle for balance, at least to me.    I don't think it is a "hiker".   The coloration is wrong and is also consistent top to bottom.    I think it is either a bigfoot or a person in a "fur" suit based on the color and changes of color as position shifts, reflection shifts.   Gillie suit would be more camo, not a dark color, so that doesn't fit.

So bigfoot or hoax.

I wish it was someone other than RMSO presenting this.   They are not reliable.  Not saying hoaxers, just saying very poor discernment which leads to saying everything is a bigfoot even when it clearly isn't.   They pretty consistently fail to do their due diligence.   This is too likely the situation here.

Its "balancing act" reminds me of a circus monkey on a tightrope.

I’d like to know if there’s more to this video, if not I’d say hoax.  Reason being it’s in the open, if you’re filming what you think is the real deal you’ll keep going until it’s out of sight (think PG film).  If it’s a hoax on the other hand you’ll stop filming after you get your initial clip because the longer you film the better the chances of it being exposed as fake.

^^^^ The main concern I have is the arm movement apparently in maintaining balance.   That seems atypical / "is not present" in other bigfoot videos.    It is pretty normal for a slightly offbalance human struggling up a steep slope at an angle.   (BTDT, and have the bruises on my "hiney" from failure to prove it!!)

The long arms out to the sides reminds me of this video. Russian Almasty.

CB interviewed the woman who video'd it on last weeks podcast that he has, bigfoot and Beyond.

CB's interview of the witness can be found here:

The witness gives quite a bit of detail on her sighting and Cliff shares what he found during his follow-up investigation. She says was impressed with the length of its stride and Cliff says the slope was quite steep, perhaps as much as a 50% grade.

At first, I felt a sasquatch should be able to traverse easier on the hillside. After watching to whole video, It doesn't seem to have human proportions. The talk of the supernatural and that her dad is a bigfoot enthusiast, indicated to me that this person was familiar with the subject of sasquatch, so would be able to come to conclusions based off of a more perceptive observation.

Having climbed around in forest like this, it ain't easy :) Went out today, and my knees are killing me. I think this video is interesting but not conclusive. Maybe it's injured? Who knows. I'd want comparison photos, as always.

My best friend and mule packing buddy came over with his wife for a Xmas party. The subject of Bigfoot came up. He is highly skeptical, mainly because he has spent a life time in the forest and never encountered anything. And we both agree that only a body would solve the mystery.

But one of his points was…… with all of the trail cameras and cell phones out there why don’t we have more video. And I stopped him immediately and told him we have gobs and gobs…. But nothing that is conclusive. Because videos will never be conclusive. So I started going through videos with him. From Fred Eichler to this video. We even hashed over the PGF. He admits that the PGF looks real. So maybe I planted a seed of doubt in his head and he will keep a better look out in the future.

We also hashed over the Yeti and how videos of the Yeti being a hoax are much less probable when experienced mountaineers are videoing something at 18000 feet on glacier they cannot readily access and no one has ever been over there. Or just trackways….

All we can do with videos like this is to go look into the area it was filmed and try to get real proof. DNA, biopsy dart or dead Bigfoot. Whatever.

Good for you! Going over videos together is a positive way to discuss the Bigfoot dilemma. Lots of short vids, plenty of people telling of sightings or sounds, but no physical remains.

And — Merry Christmas to all who celebrate this day!

Watching it several times, I think it is highly believable. Could it be a hoax? Absolutely.

I'm about as far away from being an expert as one could be though. Belief is the key.

That’s really the first thing that I noticed too.  We don’t generally see animals struggling to navigate that much in their natural environment.  And, don’t the arms look too short?  So far, I have to chalk this one up as very inconclusive.
