  2. Is that a serious question? When decisions are made in courts by juries rather than being made by professional managers, a lot of really dumb things happen. We've had any number of post-fire salvage timber sales here blocked by court decisions when the environmental groups sued USFS and timber companies in federal court. Expecting anything rational once the courts are involved in emotional issues is pretty nuts once you've seen how things really happen. :( It doesn't matter anymore what you can prove or disprove, when it gets to court, all that matters is feelings, not science.
  3. According to some we have an impending environmental disaster due to burning fossil fuels, why would any ground be locked up over an elusive creature that can go anywhere? One that no one can seem to produce a single photo of or physical evidence. I suppose getting physical evidence of one of these things would be on the same level as finding a little green man. Maybe it would be even more incredible since we seem to have decent photos of the ships that little green men fly in.
  4. What private groups own these ecosystems?
  5. There’s never been a single good picture. There’s pictures and video of just about every facet of life. There is more cameras in the woods, more people in the woods with all kinds of technology for night vision, infrared vision, it’s extraordinary what is available. Yet STILL not a single photo. So yeah, I think it would do a lot of good. Yeah because now everything is easily faked. But if you can’t get a single good photo or video, even with the incredible technology they have now and so much of it, I’m not sure how you’re ever gonna get any physical evidence. Physical evidence is even more elusive than a good picture.
  6. Well they don't want any more colonizers laying claim to anything. The Dorset people disappeared and the Inuit moved in. Probably because of 1st contact with the Vikings brought small pox. Its just to bad that the truth is a casualty in this debacle. I have a sneaking suspicion that contact between the old world and the new world is much older than anyone thinks.

  8. “Good” is all in the eyes of the beholder. And one amazing crystal clear way better than good photo WILL NOT move the yard stick with academia one bit. We need physical evidence.
  9. yes, and since the courts overrule the professional land managers who are just trying to do their jobs managing ecosystems, lock-up via court mandate is the most probable outcome.

  12. The Forest Service would not lock up their ecosystem but fanatical private groups might try.
  13. What good would a picture do at this stage of the game?
  14. Probably but there’s never been a single good picture or set of pictures. 🤷‍♂️ With all these knowers on here, someone could get at least one good picture. 🤷‍♂️

  16. Of course they did. Do they want packaging in English, French and Norwegian? Hell no. In reality, it is a culture clash in the way of who claims the land. That woman was fired and some of her work was disappeared.

Hello, my name is Tony and I’m from Kansas. I searched for LDR Blogs and bioacoustics and wound up here. I am an avid Sasquatch researcher and have collected audio in the field as well as casted tracks. I’m happy to be here. I don’t post much, but am very interested in reading and learning what others have to say. I am especially interested in LDR rigs
  19. That horse has been beat 10 feet into the ground.
  20. Government might be happy if people stopped visiting their property.
  21. Probably would just rather keep the status quo. They do with everything like this. I’ve never seen a government abide by its mission statement, let alone its constitution or laws.
  22. At least get a good picture.
  23. Maybe they just continue with the status quo because they can. That sounds more like government to me.
  24. Yeah it seems all the knowers are obsessed with this phenomenon but are quite content with not taking the picture. Doesn't make sense to me.
  25. They have been sighted it seems everywhere, why would they lock up an ecosystem to protect them?
  26. Thanks. I wasn't aware of that.
  27. Tonight’s guest, Bill Dodd, is an 81-year-old great-great-grandfather who spent much of his life hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. For most of his life, Bill didn't believe in Sasquatch. In fact, he used to make jokes about people who claimed to have seen them. That all changed one October morning in 2005, when he had an encounter that left him with no doubt that they exist. At the time, Bill was living in a travel trailer near the Mississippi River, just across the bridge from Memphis, Tennessee, on the Arkansas side. While driving down a gravel road on his way to work, he spotted an enormous, reddish-brown, hair-covered creature standing near an intersection. Bill stopped his truck about 60 yards from it and watched as the creature casually walked across the road before disappearing into a thicket. He estimates that it stood between 7 and 8 feet tall, with massive shoulders, unusually long arms, and a distinctive way of walking. What makes Bill's encounter particularly interesting is that it happened in broad daylight, within sight of the Memphis skyline. This wasn't a fleeting glimpse of something moving through the woods. Bill had a clear view of the creature and was able to observe several of its physical characteristics. That wasn't Bill's only unusual experience, however. Years later, while camping and fishing with his son in Mississippi, he heard a strange, unsettling howl unlike anything he'd heard during his many years outdoors. To this day, he doesn't know what made that sound. On tonight's show, Bill shares the details of his unforgettable sighting, describes the creature's appearance and behavior, and talks about other Sasquatch reports from the Mississippi River region. He also explains how seeing something he once considered impossible changed the way he looks at the world. If you've ever wondered what it would take to turn a lifelong skeptic into a firm believer, you won't want to miss tonight's episode of Bigfoot Eyewitness Radio!
