I hunted the Canadian side of the Yaak (Yahk in Canada) over about a decade back in the late '80s/early '90s, with some success. On one trip, my wife and I each got a mule deer and a whitetail, and I got a nice 6 pt elk. I have a pre digital photo of my wife standing at a border post on a mountain top with one foot in BC and the other in Montana. Great country to hunt in those days.   Nice shot of the young moose!

Camp

Came down Spread creek from Canuck pass. Had lunch in Yaak Montana.   Drove out to Northwest peak. And then back tracked down the mountain and camping along the west fork of the Yaak river.
