I don't think there is any way this paper would publish if the reviewers (other geneticists) aren't looking at the actual data derived from the DNA. No Journal would risk their reputation on this subject without doing this very basic thing.

Is it the goal to find a fault of any sort and turn that into grounds for dismissal? I brought up the '1 strike you're out' mindset in another post. It seems to me that critical thinking has evolved into gotcha. You would think these folks were running for president.

Tell me you're joking ? The scientific community on the whole has scoffed at even the thought of this subject and have dismissed it for decades whilst the " amateurs " are the one's that have persevered with it. If it wasn't for the " amateurs " this website wouldn't be here and this Animal wouldn't even be known about at all & just dismissed as native american nonsense and thought of as being real by people who are not the full ticket.
